of the Medical Examiner, I supervised four other full time pathologists and two part time pathologists covering our workload of more than 1,300 autopsies per year including
35-40 homicides (non vehicular). Cases included a wide spectrum of forensic autopsies and investigations including decomposed bodies (both from water and land),
skeletal remains, exhumations, animal deaths and cemetery desecrations, scene investigations and courtroom testimony. As Deputy Chief Medical Examiner of Suffolk
County, New York, I consulted with many attorneys, both private and affiliated with malpractice insurance companies, in cases of alleged malpractice, questions of double
indemnity, workmen's compensation and other medicolegal questions including investigation of the American Airlines Crash in Chicago.
